Did Ken enjoy any of these albums?

It's early 1980, and I'm a huge Joy Division fan. 'Unknown Pleasures' is constantly on my turntable. When the band's American tour is announced, my friend and I buy our tickets immediately. Then...well, you know the rest.

I cannot tell you what a HUGE disappointment 'Movement' was when it came out - especially when it had been preceded by a very good single, 'Everything's Gone Green'. To this day I cannot remember a single song from the album. Maybe I should play it again to re-experience the let-down.

Went to see them in 1981 when they played the Market Street Cinema in SF with John Cooper Clarke as the opening act. They were bad. He was great (and still is).

I was almost as big a PiL fan as a Joy Division fan in '80, and their debut LP is first rate. Annalisa never gets old!
